The City of Burnaby
Burnaby is east of Vancouver. It’s the third largest city in BC (surpassed only by Vancouver and Surrey). It also has one of the highest ratios of park land to residents in North America. Properties in Burnaby are surrounded by nature and green spaces. The city is also home to many popular communities. They consist of a wide variety of homes and corporate buildings. These include technology companies such as Telus, Ballard Power Systems, Kodak, and Electronics Arts.
Burnaby occupies 98.60 square kilometers (4%) of the land in Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD) and is the seat of the GVRD government. It is also home to BC’s largest commercial mall, Metropolis at Metrotown, the second largest mall in Canada.
