Burnaby Art Gallery
With a suggested admission donation of $5, the Burnaby Art Gallery is affordable fun for the whole family. It features amazing art exhibitions by a mix of local and international artists. The gallery also includes more than 5,000 works of art in its permanent collection, so there is no shortage of creativity to enjoy.

The Village Museum
The Burnaby Village Museum is a living re-enactment of Burnaby in the 1920’s. There are more than a dozen buildings across the nine-acre site. Find an ice cream parlour, log cabin, post office, barbershop, and tram station. In addition, an interurban train, blacksmith, and general store are all in the historic village.

Shadbolt Art Centre
More than 250,000 people visit the Shadbolt Centre for Arts every year. The centre offers workshops and programming, in addition to art and theatre performances. It is located in Deer Lake Park, with easy access for people visiting by skytrain or bus. Spend an entire day enjoying creativity!

The Burnaby Youth Hub
The Burnaby Youth Hub hosts a variety of programs. These include free summer camps, youth arts programs, and a 10-week program for children with behavioural and mental health challenges. Workshops include self defence classes, employment seminars, and a “Mind & Body Wellness” group. In addition to this, they have a free youth clinic.

Burnaby Community Services
Burnaby Community Services helps people living in poverty. They provide aid to more than 7,000 people a year through various programs. The group offers recreation credits that allow low-income families to participate in fitness opportunities at city facilities. They also run a summer camp, providing children with access to activities.

Burnaby Neighbourhood House
The Burnaby Neighbourhood House runs programs for people of all ages, from preschool to youth and seniors activities. The group hosts everything from cultural dinners to beginners yoga sessions, to income tax classes, to a “crochet corner”. They provide support to new residents, helping them connect to the community and new life.
