Burnaby Central Railway is inside of Confederation Park. It is open from April – October between 11am – 4:45pm on weekends and statutory holidays. Each train ride takes 10-15 minutes and costs $3.50 per person (children under 3 years old are free). Perfect for a fun day outside with young ones or for birthday parties and group events.

The Metro Skate Park is inside of Bonsor Park, in the Metrotown neighbourhood. It is open for all different skill levels, and has marked zones for each different level of difficulty. Skaters can enjoy street style skateboarding as well as different types of rails, ramps, platforms, stairs, and surfaces. The park also has a pipeline and dogleg bowl!

CW Parker Carousel Outside of Burnaby School District

The CW Parker Carousel is inside the Burnaby Village Museum (rated 4.5 stars on Trip Advisor). The opening hours fluctuate but rides are usually $2.65 each. This carousel was originally built in 1912 but has recently been restored. It is part of Burnaby’s heritage and is very popular amongst both local residents and tourists alike.
